Feature spotlight
In Zoho Books, you can create, assign finance-related tasks to your users, mark them by priority, and send reminders. Presenting the Contextual Tasks feature of Zoho Books in this edition of Digest.
Let's say you are the manager of an entity and want one of your team members, Joe, to follow up on an invoice by calling the customer two days before the due date. How can Zoho Books help you manage this task?
With the Contextual Tasks feature of Zoho Books, you can create a task for the particular invoice and assign it to Joe, mark the due date as the date on which the invoice is due, and set a reminder for two days before the due date.
Meanwhile, Joe receives an email notifying him that this task has been assigned to him. He also gets a notification two days before the due date reminding him to make the follow-up call.
Note: This feature is available only for select plans of Zoho Books. Visit the pricing page to check if it’s available with your current plan.
What's new
Upgradation to Yodlee's new API platform
Zoho Books is now upgraded to Yodlee's (our third-party banking service provider) new API platform for better bank feed synchronization. To experience this new platform capability, some of you will have to upgrade each of your Yoddle-supported bank accounts to the new platform by reconnecting them with Zoho Books. Once the reconnection is done, you'll be able to seamlessly import your bank feeds into Zoho Books. For others, the feeds will be fetched once you refresh feeds.
Note: With this upgrade, Zoho Books can fetch feeds from banks that support open banking.
