Tip #1 - Introducing the Improved Participant Question Pane

Did you try ShowTime's improved 'Participant Question Pane'? The new participant question pane has become more comprehensive. This new addition will make your training session more interactive and collaborative.

 

According to an article by 'Creditdonkey' , 238 million people feel uneasy to speak in front of others due to the fear of being in the spotlight . So, how do you make your attendee's participate without talking?


Q &A Session 

Participants either feel shy to ask questions or repeat a question which has already been discussed. To overcome this challenge, ShowTime facilitates a Q&A session which turns boring training or business discussions into fun conversations. This lets the trainer shine as he/she receives questions from the hesitant participants.

 

Encourage Participation

Getting your audience to participate right from the beginning of the session is most effective. Encourage participation by inviting them to pose questions through ' attend.zoho.com ' on a web / mobile browser or by downloading the 'ShowTime Viewer app' on their smartphones.

 

So, what's new about the participant question pane? Let me explain with an example.


David, a trainee raises a question. The trainer will receive an instant notification. With the earlier version of ShowTime, when a question is projected, the question's status will be highlighted as "Answered" on David's screen. However, the question asked by David will not be visible to any of the other attendee's on their devices. They can view them only on the big screen when and if projected by the trainer .

 

ShowTime takes a step further and makes the 'participant question pane' more comprehensive.


When both David and Alex (trainees) post questions virtually with their mobile devices,  the trainer will receive an instant notification. The trainer chooses to project both the questions and once projected, a pop-up will be displayed on both David's and Alex's device displaying the questions along with their names. The questions' status will be highlighted as "Answered" after the questions are projected . Now all participants present in the session will be able to view the questions raised by other trainees on their mobile devices.




How to pose questions using a 'Web browser' and the 'ShowTime Viewer app'?

  • Your trainee's can visit 'attend.zoho.com' on a web browser. Smartphone users can download "ShowTime Viewer app" on their mobile phone and request them to open the app.
  • Prompt them to enter the 'audience key' that you shared on the projector screen.
  • Once the slide show begins, the trainer traverses between slides while both the trainer and the attendees screen work in sync showing similar slides.
  • Request your participants to ask a question by clicking the "Question" tab. They can enter a question and hit 'Ask' .
  • You will be notified when the questions are posed. Choose to Project it to your audience.
  • Once projected, all your participants will be able to view the questions on their devices. The projected questions will be highlighted as "Answered" .
