Business Rules allows you to organize the bugs more efficiently by setting criteria that match your project requirement. Business Rules are applied to bugs based on the rule list order, when there are multiple business rules. You can add, edit and deactivate a business rule.

Add a Business Rule
You can add as many business rules as desired for issues.
- Click
in the upper-right corner of the top navigation band.
- Navigate to Issue Tracker > Business Rule.
- Click Add Rule.
- Enter Name and select the trigger for the rule to Execute On.
- Click Next.

Choose the Criteria based on the trigger and click Next.
- Click
to add a criteria.
- Multiple criteria can be added. Criteria for execution can be managed using AND and OR expressions.
- AND: All criteria must be true for executing the business rule.
- OR: Either one of the criteria must be true.
- Criteria Pattern can be edited to get the desired result.
- Check the Execute the next business rule box if you want to execute the next business rule in the Business Rule list view.

- Select the field and enter the values to update when the business rule is triggered in the Actions tab.
- Setup webhooks to call them when the rule is triggered.
- Setup custom functions to be executed when the rule is triggered.
- Update support tickets in Zoho Desk (requires integration with Zoho Desk)

Click Save Rule.
Edit Business Rule
- Click
in the upper-right corner of the top navigation band.
- Navigate Issue Tracker > Business Rules.
- Click
and select Edit to modify the business rule.
- Click Save.
