Assign Team(s) / User(s) to Tasks

Associate Team in List/Gantt view

1. Select a project from the Recent Projects section or from the Projects tab in the left navigation panel.
2. Click the Tasks tab in the top band and open the List/Gantt view.
3. Check the box to the left of any task to select the task, then select Associate Team from the options.
4. Alternatively, click on the cell corresponding to the task in the Associated Team column.
5. Select the Team from the drop-down and click Save.
6. If Associated Team is not available in the Task Detail page:
1. Click    in the upper-right corner of the top navigation bar.
2. Navigate to Customization > Layouts and Fields > Tasks. Associate Team field is listed by default.
3. If removed, it can be added again from the Available Fields tab.

Associate User in List/Gantt view

1. Select a project from the Recent Projects section or from the Projects tab in the left navigation panel.
2. Click the Tasks tab in the top band and open the List/Gantt view.
3. Scroll to the Owner column, click the desired task's user icon, and choose users from the drop-down.

Associate Team in Kanban View

1. Select a project from the Recent Projects section or from the Projects tab in the left navigation panel.
2. Click the Tasks tab in the top band and open the Kanban view.
3. Hover over a task, check the box next to the task title, and select Associate Team from the options.
4. Select the team from the drop-down and click Save.

Associate User in Kanban View

1. Select a project from the Recent Projects section or from the Projects tab in the left navigation panel.
2. Click the Tasks tab in the top band and open the Kanban view.
3. Click the user icon in the bottom tray and choose users from the drop-down.
   

 This action will be available in Add Task form, Task Details, Task List Views, Inline Edit as well as bulk update.
