Note: This article explores audio and video meetings in the Cliq module of the Trident desktop app. If you're looking for help documents of the standalone Zoho Cliq web app, click here. You will receive a meeting invitation when you are added to a meeting or when a meeting is initiated from a group or channel in which you are a participant. You can join the meeting from:

Notes:
You will also receive a meeting invitation via the Taz bot whenever you're added to an ongoing meeting or when someone initiates a new meeting. Learn more about the Taz bot.
If the meeting is locked, you can request to join the meeting, and your request will be approved or rejected by the host and co-host.
To choose the camera, microphone, and speaker device:
In the meeting preview window, click the Settings icon.
Select the desired device.
Note: Before joining a video meeting, you can check the video preview to ensure everything is properly set up. If you've joined the meeting through the Cliq web application, you can seamlessly transfer the meeting to Trident. To do so:
Go to Trident.
Click Join in the meeting invitation that appears on your home screen.
Select Handoff to This Device.
You can share your screen from Trident without transferring the meeting. The meeting will continue in your original device without any hassle. To do so:
Go to Trident.
Click Join in the meeting invitation that appears on your home screen.
Select Share Your Screen.
Choose to share your window or your display.
Click OK.
Note: You can directly handoff your meeting and initiate screen sharing, irrespective of whether you are engaged in screen sharing in the web application.The following features are available for the host, co-host, and participants. If any of these features aren't available for the participants, reach out to the host for access.
To mute or unmute your audio, click the Microphone icon present in the toolbar. Similarly, to turn your video on or off, click the Camera icon.

To share screen in a meeting:
Click the Screen Share icon.
In the window that opens, select Choose Screen to Share your window or Share your display, then click OK.
Click the Stop Screen Share icon present in the toolbar.

Notes:
From the screen-share toolbar, you can click Disable Cursor to hide your cursor while screen-sharing.
If the host has not given you the permission to share your screen you can send a request. Click the Screen Share icon and Request to Share Screen.
You can also share you screen from Trident while attending a meeting on a different device without transferring the meeting.
Annotating While Sharing Screen
To annotate the screen during a one-on-one or group screen share:
Click the pen icon located in the top toolbar.
Choose the desired annotation option from the left pane.

Notes:
To close the annotation tool, click the Close icon at the bottom of the annotation options bar, then confirm by selecting Close in the pop-up window.
To view those who are participating in the meeting, click Participants from the meeting toolbar. It will list the hosts, co-hosts, and participants, as well as those who are yet to join. You can use the Search Bar to look up participants.
To initiate chat while in the meeting, click Chat in the toolbar. This will open the group or channel in which the meeting was initiated, and all of your conversations will be recorded in the respective chats.
To initiate a one-on-one chat with a participant:
In the participants panel that appears, click the More Options icon.
Select Open Chat from the drop-down list.
Click React from the meeting toolbar.
In the pop-up that opens, choose from a range of reactions.
You can choose to customize the meeting view, toolbar, and other layout preferences.

You can choose between multiple meeting layouts to suit your preferences during a meeting. To customize the layout click the View icon in the top-left corner of the meeting window. The following is a list of the available viewing options:

Note: Your meeting window will switch to picture-in-picture (PIP) mode automatically when you navigate to other apps. You can disable PIP mode by clicking the Pin icon at the top-left corner.You can access the meeting settings by clicking the Settings icon from the meeting toolbar. You can configure the preferences given below:

To customize the toolbar:
Click Settings from the meeting toolbar.
Click Customize Toolbar from the menu list.
In the Customize Toolbar menu that opens, set your preferences:

To send feedback during an ongoing meeting, click the Send Feedback icon on the meeting toolbar and describe your experience in the window that opens.
To leave the meeting:
Click the Leave icon from the toolbar.
