6 Zoho Vault features you must try this World Password Day
It's World Password Day tomorrow, and there's no better time to talk about the importance of passwords. World Password Day is observed on the first Thursday of every May, with its prime focus on the importance of using strong passwords across all accounts. With the explosion on the number of applications we use when working remotely, password management can be stressful without the right solution.
A password manager like Zoho Vault makes life easier for both individuals and businesses by helping you secure all your passwords in one place and also by autofilling them on any websites and applications you access. Configure a password policy
The primary advantage of using a password manager is the ability to generate strong passwords for your accounts and store them safely. To prevent users from saving weak passwords, Vault allows you to set a strong password policy for your organization. All users will have to adhere to the policy, thereby eliminating weak passwords from your organization.
Monitor security scores
Zoho Vault's new UI focuses on password safety by displaying detailed insights on the security of all your passwords. Passwords are sorted into six different classifications (weak, reused, recycled, old, contains username, or dictionary words) to help you quickly reset your weak passwords. You can also view your organization's security score from the Team Dashboard section.
Share passwords without revealing them in plain-text
Sharing passwords through Vault is easy and secure. You can share passwords with your users and your entire team using one of four different privilege levels (One-click login only, View, Edit, Manage). When passwords are shared using the one-click login only privilege, users can only log in to accounts, but never view the related passwords in plain text. We recommend that you share all your critical passwords using this privilege level.
Log in to websites and apps in a single click
Vault does more than just save your passwords. You can easily autofill your passwords and log in to websites with our browser extensions. You can also autofill passwords and log in to websites and mobile applications using our iOS and Android applications. Our extensions also prompt you to save passwords for all new accounts, saving you time and manual effort.
Configure emergency contacts
Critical business passwords are often owned by a select few employees. Access to these passwords, however, needs to be available 24/7, even if those employees are unavailable. With Vault, you can add emergency contacts who can temporarily access all business passwords during a crisis.
Manage passwords from your mobile device
Zoho Vault offers free syncing across devices and can easily be accessed from all popular browsers and mobile devices. Download our browser extensions and mobile applications, to access your passwords from any device of your choice. You can also access your passwords saved in Vault from your Apple watch.
