disable notifications

disable notifications

is there a way to disable the email notification from within a group? My management wants the intranet (connect) to stay self contained. I realize that this would mean a user isnt notified that there is a new post, but if we could either have a on/off notifications or ideally a daily/weekly summary of new posts that would be great.
