Displaying Multi Currency on invoice
Hi Zoho Helpers.
My situation is as follows:
In my country we used both currencies US$ and ANG guilders
both are acceptable,
Exchange rates are fixed, however each company has the choice to choose his/her rate
eg, 1.75, 1.79, 1.8, 1.82 or 2.0, so, 1US $ can equal any of the mentioned exchange rates listed.
Once invoice is submitted, clients can choose in which currency they pay US$ or ANG.
Since most P.O.S. does not list both currencies on the invoices, most companies just list their exchange rate on the invoice, and let the client do the calculations, however, we do have smart clients, that will say they didn't see it, and will use their own exchange rate..
Also we have the choice to choose which currency to maintain our books, most companies does it in US$, as thats the most paid currency, and more govermental or large corp companies, does their books in ANG
IN my cass i have choose to do my books in US$.
So what i would like to know if this is possible, on the invoice, i would like to see the ending total i US$, but base on the my exchange rate of choice, i would like to also see the calculations done by zoho invoice.So at my ending total, i will see US$ 500.00 and below that also the Total in ANG which amounts to 910.00 using the rate of 1.82.
So my clients will see both US$ and ANG prices, and then make the choice of payments.
Why is this so important.
Banks uses their own conversion rate also, most of the time 1.82. this causes problems for us.
If some one pays us a chq in ANG, and we go deposit on a US$ bank account, the bank uses their own rate, which might not be the same as my rate, and there fore, my final bank depost will be different, that what i charged the client
The higher the figure, the higher the difference
