Execution of workflow rules and time based actions
I have a question about the following scenario.
Right now we have a workflow rule that we use for recurring billing. We have created a rule that executes upon a certain field update and creates 5 different time based actions. The first one is 11 days after the rule execution date, the next one is 1 year later, the next one 2 years later, ect.
But i was wondering what happens if during that period you change that specific field again.
Will it trigger the same rule again and create additional time based actions?
Or will it check to see if there are still running time based actions and not schedule new time based actions?
