Going beyond basics: Smarter ecommerce marketing with Zoho Campaigns

Welcome back to this week's Marketer's Space.

In the last post, we discussed the basics of email marketing and how to get started with email marketing in ecommerce. In this part, we'll dive much deeper into some other advanced features that can really up your game in ecommerce marketing.

Once you've tried the basics of email marketing, like abandoned cart reminders or seasonal promotions, it's tempting to stop there. But the real power of Zoho Campaigns comes when you start using these features together—and that's when your emails stop feeling like just another promo and start feeling like a natural part of the customer's journey.

This post is all about features that are often forgotten, like segmentation, recommendations, reports, and A/B testing. If you're already sending campaigns, these tools can help you refine your strategy and see better results with less effort.

Segmentation that actually works

Not all customers are the same, and treating them as one big list often leads to lower engagement.
In Zoho Campaigns, segmentation is simple to set up.
For example, you can:
  1. Target first-time buyers with educational content about your products.
