Let's say that you're the social media marketer for your brand or business and you've planned the content calendar for the week. It's a tedious week ahead for you as you have to be a part of a marketing event, and you worry that your travel might affect your social media plan. What if you could prepare posts beforehand and leave it to Zoho Social to publish them at the specific time you need? With Social's
scheduling feature, you'll be able to schedule your posts in bulk, repeat posts, and understand and choose the best time to post.
Once you've added a caption and attached any necessary media and hashtags, you can choose any of the publishing options from the compose window. You can either choose to publish the post immediately using the Publish Now option, or you can schedule it for a later date and time using any of the scheduling options from both your Zoho Social web and mobile applications.
In case of any promotional activity that you're doing on your social channels, you can choose to repeat the post, when you want to repeat it until, and the frequency of repetition. With Social's queue options, you can add the post to a queue based on the time slots available. These queue slots can be modified or added under Publishing Settings -> Queue Settings.
As you start to publish more content, Social suggests the best times to publish based on past engagements and metrics. To ensure that your posts reach the target audience when they're online and that they perform well, you can use the SmartQ feature. Social needs at least 7 days of data to base the predictions on, so Social won't display publishing suggestions if you're in the first week of usage. You can also use the
Bulk Scheduler to schedule posts in bulk. All the scheduled posts can be viewed under the Posts tab.
If you have to share your content plan for the month with your team, you can do that with the
export function. You can export all the scheduled posts, or even specific posts based on networks, as a CSV file. You can also view your scheduled posts in the Calendar and visualize your plan.
With this schedule in place, you can manage your multiple hats effectively! Try scheduling your posts this week, and let us know what you think.
