Spotlight 5: Convey more with custom sections
Your event microsite is the first impression you make on visitors who want to learn more about your event. It is also a place where attendees come to find out event-related information. Providing this information in a structured layout increases engagement, prompts conversions, and drives ticket sales for your event.
Insert information anywhere on the event microsite with the help of custom sections. Choose from the following types of sections depending on the content you want to share.
Text
Use the Text only section when you want your content to be displayed in a minimalistic way. You can include a header, a subtitle, and the content in this section.
Widget
Add a new dimension to your microsite by using the Embed widget section. Let your attendees watch a video, fill in a form, or use an app, without leaving your microsite. Simply copy and paste the HTML code snippet of the application or interface to embed it.
Image and text
Add a bit of splash to your event microsite with graphics. Convey your ideas with multiple images and some content. The Image and Text section now lets you align your content in rows or columns and use a carousel to make navigation easier.
Testimonial
Bring in success stories from previous events to add to your credibility. The Testimonial section has an area to add the testimonial content and an image or graphic of the person or organization who said it. This will establish trust in prospective attendees and enable you to attract more people.
List
Simplify large sets of information by breaking them down and grouping them into main points. For instance, you can tell everyone what they will learn from the event or create a checklist of things to do before someone arrives at your event. The list section can be used for ordered and unordered lists.
