Announcing new features in Trident for Windows (v.1.5.2.0 + v.1.6.5.0)

Trident for Windows has some exciting new features, prioritizing security with enhancements to elevate your day-to-day communication and productivity.

Let's take a quick look at them.

Scrub emails

Introducing the Scrub feature in Trident for a clutter-free mailbox experience. With this new addition, you can easily archive or delete emails in bulk from multiple senders with just a single click. The Scrub feature works based on the senders of the emails and can be used for up to 5 senders. When you receive multiple emails from the same set of senders, you can effortlessly archive or delete them in bulk from specific folders.




Save email drafts as templates

With the Save as Template option in the Mail Composer, you can now draft emails and save them as templates for recurring, routine emails. These saved templates can be accessed anytime from the Templates folder in the left pane or from More Options in the Mail Composer.

Download email attachments with passwords

To ensure your attachments are fully secure even after you download them, you can now download them with a password. Whether you've accidentally shared the file or if your system is left unlocked, your attachments remain safeguarded against unauthorized access.

View email attachments the way you like

Previously, email attachments were displayed at the bottom of the email by default. Now, you can view the attachments either at the top or bottom, depending on the preferences set in Zoho Mail web's settings.

Explore expanded search filters in Calendar

Previously, you could only search for events by their title, the calendar they belong to, or specific dates. Now, with the inclusion of thirteen new filters, you can also search by event creators, attendees, location, organizers, descriptions, attachments within events, and even recurring events. These search options allow you to easily locate specific information within your schedule, ensuring you find what you need instantly.

Access the WorkDrive widget even with an individual plan

Zoho WorkDrive users with an individual plan can now access the WorkDrive widget in Trident.

Sticky notifications for email and task reminders

In addition to Streams and email notifications, you can now get sticky notifications for email and task reminders. These notifications stay on your screen until you act on them, ensuring you never miss important emails or upcoming tasks. With options to snooze or dismiss reminders, you can stay organized and prioritize your work accordingly.

To leverage these new features in Trident, update the app to the latest version by following the steps below:

  1. Click the Main Menu  icon on the top-left corner of the app.

  1. Select Check for Updates from the menu list.
