Kiosk Studio wrap-up | How our community used kiosks in 2024
Hello, everyone!
As we ring in the new year, let's rewind and look at Kiosk Studio, our no-code customization tool. The past 300 days have seen the CRM community embrace this feature, as seen by the 200+ combined replies to our early access post and general release post.
Milestones
Let's look at some important milestones we've crossed in 2024:
- January: 2024 begins with early access and a packed webinar with the product manager.
- March: The global rollout makes Kiosk Studio available to everyone.
- April: Our update enables users to add kiosks to Canvas pages, include Zia components, and more.
- July: A huge update makes kiosks available in Blueprint transitions for smoother workflows.
- September: We add new fields, new actions, and more in Kiosk Studio. Kiosk Studio Session #1 is published.
- November: We add dynamic data retrieval within kiosks using queries.
- December: We extend support to the Professional Edition, thereby opening kiosks up to smaller businesses.

Who loves kiosks more? Admins who like the easy configuration? Or users who love the smooth execution?
- Admins around the world have created a whopping 12,000+ kiosks combined so far!
- Not to be outdone, users have executed kiosks a staggering 290,000+ times!
- We're calling this a tie for 2024 (though we want to thank the admins for trying out this feature in the first place)!

Building kiosks for the IT-related domains was the most popular usage of kiosks, followed by consulting, real estate, insurance, and banking, showcasing Kiosk Studio's versatility across industries.

As you know, kiosks can be accessed from multiple locations in the CRM. Users have accessed kiosks via custom buttons the most, followed by the home page dashboard and record detail views.

- Client script support to enable dynamic UI behavior and validations during kiosk execution
- Path connector enhancements to streamline workflows by merging, branching, and looping paths effortlessly
- Configurable back and pause buttons, giving users more control and improving navigation
- Reuse (clone) fields to enable users to reuse kiosk or module fields and ensure consistency and save time

Very frustrating that as an admin I cannot see what my reports my fellow admins have created and scheduled. After asking about this on the help chat, I was told the issue is trust and security. By giving someone Admin status, it means we trust them with those responsibilities.
