Tips and Tricks 7: Live sessions
Hello everyone,
Today we will see how to view the live sessions for your event. Live sessions are exactly what they sound like—the sessions happening at the current time in an event day. When you are dealing with many sessions or are hosting multi-day events, keeping track of sessions that are running parallel can help you get a clear view of your event agenda.
A Live Sessions dropdown will be seen at the top of the Present Sessions tab from the Conduct dashboard in the Event Console. This dropdown will appear only when there are overlapping sessions near the current time marker in your timeline. Note that the sessions displayed on your timeline are dependent on how you've filtered your sessions at the top of the page.
Click the Live Sessions dropdown to view the names of the session that span across the current time range. Click on any session name in the dropdown menu to view more details about the session in the dock to the right of the timeline. Here, you can view the session time, title, session track name, location, and speaker details, along with other session controls.
If any of these live sessions are to begin at the same time, they will display one above the other on the timeline. An icon [
] will appear over these sessions showing how many are scheduled together. Click this icon [
] to view the sessions in a pop-up. Click on any session's name in the pop-up to view more details about the session in the dock to the right of the timeline.
