One-on-One is an event type between one host and one participant, such as, a Customer Support Call that occurs between the support agent and the customer. You can create a one-on-one event type, configure all the scheduling settings, and offer it on a booking page for customers to schedule an appointment.
2. Feature availability
- Super admins and admins can create and edit one-on-one event types in all workspaces
- Workspace admins can create and edit event types in their assigned workspaces
- Managers can view the event types of their assigned workspaces
- Staff can view only their assigned event types
3. Overview
One-on-One event type allows you to conduct appointments between one host (user) and one participant (customer). It is ideal for any appointments that require a one-to-one meeting, such as consultations, product demos, sales or marketing meetings with clients, and similar.
You can assign multiple users to an event type. While booking, any one of the available users can be booked for the one-on-one appointment.
4. Steps to create an one-on-one event type
- Switch to the required workspace by clicking the workspace name under the Bookings icon
in the top-left corner. Click Event Types in the left pane and click +New Event Type in the right pane. The Create New Event type screen will appear.

- Choose One-on-One in the screen below.

- In the next screen, fill out the below details:
- Enter the Event Type Name near the icon eg.,Troubleshooting session.
- Duration: Enter a time duration for the appointment.
- Price: Select Free for cost-free appointments, and Paid for paid appointments. If the appointment is Paid, enter the appointment cost in the next text box.
- Meeting Mode: Choose whether the meeting method is Online or Offline.
- When you choose Online, it lists the video conferencing tool integrated, and you can select any one of it.
- When you choose Offline, it lists the in-person locations added under the workspace. You can select any one of them or add a new location by clicking +New Location.
- Click Next.
Note: The Price field is only to specify the cost per appointment. To collect payments online, you need to integrate any one of the payment gateways.
Furthermore, you can define the payment type under Event Type settings to make the payment as optional, full payment or deposit.

- In the next screen, choose users to assign by selecting the checkbox of the required users. You can assign multiple users to the event type, and when the customer books, any one of the users gets booked for the appointment.
- Click Create Event Type. This creates an one-on-one event type in the current workspace.

Once the event type is created, you can edit its settings by selecting the created event type under the Event Types tab.
