Blueprint Issue - Being able to set a subform field as mandatory
I'm creating a blueprint. My record involves a subform which is only shown once field is set but the field gets set in step two of the process.
My problem
- I can't save the record as the subform field is set to mandatory
- If I unset the mandatory field, I'm unable to make it mandatory in conditional layouts
Is this just a flaw or is there a work around? The initial user creating the record will not have the information needed to fill out the subform (hence the blueprint process)
I understand I can just create a checklist within the blueprint but that's just a reminder rather that locking user into a process.
I guess it would be possible to run a custom function afterwards to check that the subform has been filled out but then again... we don't get access to the blueprint trigger field to kick it back to previous stage.
Any suggestions appreciated!
