Enhanced Checkbox & Radio Button Options with "Other" Selection in Zoho Bookings Forms
Dear Zoho Bookings Support Team,
We'd like to request a feature enhancement for Zoho Bookings forms, specifically for checkbox and radio button fields, that would significantly improve user flexibility and data collection capabilities.
Current Functionality:
Zoho Bookings currently allows the creation of checkbox and radio button fields with predefined options. However, these fields lack the ability for users to select an "Other" option to specify additional choices beyond those provided.
Feature Request:
We propose the introduction of an "Other" option within checkbox and radio button fields on booking forms. When users select "Other," they should be able to enter a custom response into a dedicated text field. This custom response would then be captured and saved along with the booking information.
Benefits:
Enhanced User Experience: This feature would empower users to provide more accurate information by accommodating scenarios where pre-defined options might not be entirely suitable.
Improved Data Collection: Allowing custom responses through "Other" would enable the collection of valuable insights and details beyond pre-defined choices. This could inform future service offerings or better understand user preferences.
Reduced User Frustration: Users who wouldn't be able to select an existing option wouldn't be forced to choose an inaccurate one, reducing frustration and ensuring a smoother booking experience.
Conclusion:
Implementing an "Other" option with custom input for checkbox and radio button fields would significantly enhance the flexibility and data collection potential of Zoho Bookings forms. We believe this feature would benefit users by catering to broader scenarios and enabling the gathering of valuable additional information.
