What is reports space in Zoho People? Who is it for?

Reports is a consolidated space for all reports from the various services in Zoho People. Reports are useful for providing actionable insights and giving a bird's-eye view of what is going on in your organization. Reports are useful for everyone, including administrators, HR, and managers!

How to access and use Zoho People reports? 

To access reports, click on the Reports icon at the bottom-left of any screen. Reports are primarily classified into My Reports, Team Reports, and Organization Reports, each with varying data scopes. Within each of these sections, reports are further categorized by the service they belong to. You can use the search bar to quickly find a report by name. The star icon can be used to mark a report as a favorite, and doing so will place it at the top of the list.

Using the Access Permissions button, administrators can enable or disable selective reports and also grant or deny access to specific reports based on roles.

The classifications of reports by scope

My Reports
My reports cover all the data and information that an employee can view about themselves such as their leave balance and appraisal ratings.

Team Reports
Team reports cover all information that a manager can view about their reportees or that an employee can view about their team.

Organization Reports
Organization reports cover all information that an admin can view about the entire organization.

Analytics and Advanced Analytics

Scheduler
Use Report Scheduler  to automatically send reports to specific users, roles, department, or user groups on a regular basis via email, Learn more.

Report Access Permissions

Report access permissions allow you to enable or disable entire report sections and further refine access to individual services and specific reports by granting access to only certain roles.



To configure permission for the reports:
  1. Navigate to Reports > Access Permissions.
  2. In the Access Permissions section, select any of the following reports for which you would like to configure access.
    - My Reports
    - Team Reports
    - Organization Reports
  3. Use the toggle button to enable or disable access to the entire report section, specific service reports, or individual reports within the service.

  4. Click on the report to restrict access based on the roles.
    Idea
    You can toggle between the My Reports, Team Reports, and Organizational Reports tabs to configure access for the selected report.

  4. Office In and Remote In
  5. Presence hours break-up
  6. Attendance data for payroll
  7. Muster roll

Reports under this section can give you insights into employee absenteeism and overall unhealthy leave patterns that may impact the growth of an organization.
