Zoho Assist added to Chrome Web Store!
We are glad to announce that Zoho Assist has been added to Chrome Web Store. With Zoho Assist installed in your Chromebook, you can now view and control any desktop without installing any additional plugin or software. Zoho Assist is built with the latest HTML viewer technology, which enables it to be purely web based, easy to connect and hence it syncs smoothly with your cloud based Chromebook. Users are experiencing a problem with the Unattended Access services in Zoho Assist
Some users are seeing a problem with connecting to Unattended Computers even though they are online. We are aware of the issue and are working on it urgently. The Remote Support services are up and accessible all across the globe, while we have an intermittent network issue with our primary Service Provider for Unattended Access. Due to this intermittent connection, some users may not be able to use the Unattended Access services. We have our tier 3 team and network team working with the Service
Our customer console gets a makeover.
We are changing the look of our customer console for better usability and to add more features. With the new console, the customer will have more functionalities to work with during the session. Export all essential data before Dec. 31st, 2018 to avoid losing it during our cleanup process.
You'll no longer be able to hold session-related data older than a year in Zoho Assist. Please export all necessary information and download essential session recordings from Reports to avoid losing data. You can export data from Reports as a CSV or PDF file by clicking Export as in the top right corner. TLS v1.2 Upgrade and Changes to System Requirements for Zoho Assist
As we tighten our TLS v1.2 security update, admins and users need to be aware that supported versions of operating systems and web browsers will change after October 31st, 2018. [ALERT] Issues detected while using Google Chrome. Fix under progress.
It has been reported that Customers are not able to join remote support session and Technicians not being able to download Unattended Installer using Google Chrome browser. Google has implemented a few updates to browser settings that it's not allowing applications to get downloaded. We're actively looking into the issue and will resolve it ASAP. Once fixed, I'll update it here. Until then, please guide your customers to use other browsers like Firefox. Sorry for the inconveniences caused, if any.
V2.14: Grouping Unattended Computers, MSI Deployment, and Android app
With the latest update, Grouping feature is available for unattended computers. You can organize your remote unattended computers based on your preference in to several groups for effective management. Login to your account and start grouping your computers, if you haven't already done it. EOLA: Joining a Zoho Assist Session from Linux comes to an end!
We are ending support to customer screen sharing (or) joining a remote support session from Linux on Jan 31st, 2015. A couple of factors led us to take this call. Only a few users join from a Linux computer in a month. Our existing technology in enabling users to join a remote support session from Linux is based on Java, which itself is in decline.
