The form builder is your interface for building and modifying forms in your Zoho Forms account. Once you access your Zoho Forms account, and get started to create a new form, you will land on your form builder screen. Before you begin to
build your first form, this article will guide you through the different elements on your form builder screen so you know where to look for what with an example of the
form builder of a Sign up form shown below.
This is where you will add the fields that your form will contain. Here, you can access the
Form Properties
to edit the form title and it's description, manage form fields which includes
adding fields, rearranging them by drag and drop, and deleting them from the form.
2. Fields
Fields
are the building blocks of your form, and you can simply add fields by dragging and dropping them wherever you want in the form. The fields in Zoho Forms are broadly categorized into
Basic Fields
and
Advanced Fields
to meet your various needs.
To access the
properties
of any particular field that you have added to your form, just click the field on the form and you will see a pop-up where you can customize the properties of that field. For example, if you want to customize the properties of the
Name
field added to the form, click the field and a pop-up window to do so appears.
3. Rules
Rules
are a set of simple

then
conditions using which you can get your forms to trigger different actions. You can call them conditional rules that act as the brain of your form.
Under the
Rules
tab, Zoho Forms offers you with:

Of course, you have created a form to share it with people. With Zoho Forms, you have multiple options to share your form and collect data with ease:

tab, you can efficiently automate workflows by routing form submissions to integrated apps. Zoho Forms offers integration with 20+ services to

8. Approvals
Under the
Approvals
tab, you can set up hierarchical or
multilevel approval
workflows that allow your teammates and peers to review form submissions and approve/reject them. Automate subsequent workflows based on these approvals and create an efficient system that works just for you. This can ensure a systematic approach that will prevent delays and establish uniformity across team members.
After building your form, you can see a preview of how your live form will appear. Just click
Access Form
in the top-right corner of your form builder. A preview of your form will open in a new tab.
10. All Entries
All Entries
section of your form is where all of the form submissions made will be listed. Here, you can view, edit, print, export, delete, schedule reports and do a lot more.
11. Profile Picture
You will see your profile picture on the top-right corner of the form builder. Clicking on your profile picture will give you the following details:
Your name, email address, user ID, Link to your Zoho Accounts page, Sign Out button,
link to view your account usage, the plan name you are subscribed to, button to upgrade/manage your subscription, links to Zoho Forms Resources, link to contact us, and a toggle to enable/disable the Chatbar for Zoho Cliq.

13. The bell icon
The bell icon in the top will give you any in-app notifications.
To start a group chat with the your form collaborators (users having Modify Form
permission to a privately shared form), click the icon in the top-right corner of your form builder and click Chat. A chat window with the name of the form including all the users having the
Modify Form
permission will popup.

This link is to refer Zoho Forms to the people you know and earn instant wallet credit once they have subscribed to Zoho Forms.
16. Subscriptions
Zoho Forms offers a Free plan without any trial period to the users. If you are looking for more features, you can subscribe to any of our plans
that bring together the commonly needed features into different packages to fit your needs and budget.
You can upgrade or downgrade from your current plan, renew your subscription, and supplement your current plan with add-ons
using the
Subscriptions
link in the top corner.
17. The Home icon
The Home icon will help you navigate from the form builder to the Forms listing page,
Reports,
Users,
Tasks, and Approvals (that will take you to
review approval requests
for the form entries assigned to you).
